This isn't the Desert Classic with a disclaimer bolted on - it's the one time of year our guests get invited into something most tourists never see: the nightly rhythm of a country moving from silence to celebration at sunset, ending with an Iftar in the Sahara dunes under a Ramadan sky.
Guests are never expected to fast, and eating, drinking, and normal daily habits are fine throughout the trip. In Marrakech and on the road, a little discretion in public keeps things comfortable for everyone around you.
At Arawan Luxury Desert Camp, it's different - this is our property, and we work with Salem's team in advance so everyone's needs are met. Camp life continues exactly as normal for guests, with total freedom. You're never asked to change anything, and nothing is performed for you - Salem's team simply keeps their own rhythm, comfortably, because we've already made sure they can.
Then each evening, staff and guests break the fast together, at the same table.
